Grew up as an orphan and went to prison as a 14 year old and was freed in the prisoner exchange deal and was martyred yesterday while trying to ensure that Palestinians Muslims and Christians live as free people.

He once said

“I was raised as a fighter. I went to prison as a fighter. I was released as a fighter. I lived my life as a fighter and I plan to depart only as a fighter”
