### Iran May Hurt Israel in Many Ways

 

On August 27th, David Mencer who speaks for the Israeli cabinet said "Iran has threatened Israel from nine ways." He talked about how hard the recent fighting in Gaza was on Israel, especially for the families of soldiers. https://a.co/d/77NrMSD

Mencer said the Israeli military is working to help more than 62,000 Israelis go back to the north part of Palestine that Israel controls. He brought up Security Council Resolution 1701. Mencer said Israel follows the rules set by the United Nations for that area.https://a.co/d/f1YAczF

Also, he accused Hamas of not wanting to talk about stopping the fighting many times. At the same time, Mencer said Israel still wants to try and free Israeli prisoners. Mencer said these things while some criticize Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They say he may have made it harder for the two sides to agree to stop fighting.
