After 90 ODI innings, Babar Azam surpasses South African batsman Hashim Amla's previous record for most runs scored.


Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan's cricket team, on Sunday smashed South African batsman Hashim Amla's record for most runs scored after 90 one-day international innings.


With 91 runs in the third one-day international against the Netherlands, Babar has now amassed 4,664 runs in ODIs, which is 108 runs more than Amla had at the same point in his ODI career.


The most by any player after 90 ODI innings is the Pakistani captain's 17 ODI centuries in 90 innings, followed by Hashim Amla's 90 innings.
