Germany Considers Taurus Cruise Missile Transfer to Ukraine Amid ATACMS Deliveries"

According to recent reports, Germany is contemplating the transfer of Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine following the delivery of ATACMS rockets by the United States. However, it's essential to note that German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has emphasized that Berlin's decision to supply Kyiv with Taurus cruise missiles is not solely contingent on the US providing ATACMS rockets. The final decision on this matter is still pending, and a German official mentioned that it might take another "week or two" to reach a conclusion. If the transfer proceeds, it would mark the first-ever combat use of the Taurus missile, which is currently out of production. The Taurus missile boasts an effective range of up to 500 kilometers.
